About TSG Oklahoma City Editor Roberta Roush:

Born in Perrysburg, Ohio, Roberta is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and The Institute of Paralegal Training in Philadelphia. She met her husband on a blind date 31 years ago, and after a short courtship were engaged and married a year later.

She and her husband moved around a lot with his family trucking business, which allowed them to experience this wonderful country. They eventually settled in Oklahoma City and raised three children who are now all college graduates, Emmi included.

Over the years, Roberta worked in human resources for a company that she and her husband started several years ago and spent many hours on volunteer committees for non-profit organizations in her community. When Roberta’s daughter Emmi moved back to Oklahoma City from Dallas, they agreed it was time to bring The Scout Guide to Oklahoma City.

Roberta has been having a blast, learning so much about the city and getting to know the hard-working people behind the great local businesses in Oklahoma City.  When she’s not working, she enjoys running, attending exercise classes with her friends and spending time with her family.

About TSG Oklahoma City Editor Emmi Kobs:

Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Emmi graduated from Texas Christian University with a fashion merchandising degree, and started her climb up the corporate fashion ladder at Neiman Marcus. She left Neiman’s to work for a startup called Luxury Garage Sale in Dallas until her husband got a job in Oklahoma City, and Emmi returned home.

Emmi first saw The Scout Guide in Jackson Hole, Wyoming when she was in town for her wedding. She quickly became obsessed with the guide and spotted it in Dallas next. When she moved to Oklahoma City, Emmi and her mom saw the opportunity to bring TSG home! Her favorite aspect of being an Editor is the creative process.

When Emmi’s not working, she loves to be a mom to her two fur babies, Biscuit and Jackson. In her off time, you can find her either playing tennis or sipping a cocktail on the patio.
