Once you sign the Franchise Agreement, our team will begin training so you are prepared in every way to launch your first Volume!
GET TO KNOW THE HEADQUARTERS TEAM
First things first, you'll connect with your assigned Account Manager and have a kick-off training call to review the timeline, checklists and all the to-do's in the upcoming months. You'll review our private Editor intranet myTSG, read the Editor Manual, and get organized to hit the ground running with Sales.
Our Senior Account Manager will walk you through budget templates, tips for managing costs and maximizing revenue, cash flow, and general business management.
Our Compliance Director will walk you through all of our provided contracts and agreements so you feel comfortable answering questions from clients and photographers.
Our resident in-house Editor, Heather Sieg of TSG Charlottesville, will help you perfect your pitch and learn how to navigate common objections you may hear in your first few meetings.
PHOTOGRAPHY and PRODUCTION
Our Co-Founder Christy Ford (the original TSG Photographer!) will speak to you and your photographer to help with best practices to bring your creative vision to life.
Your Account Manager will bring you up to speed with the production process from photography, to design, to edits, to printing, and will help get you organized to hit your deadlines. Throughout design and production, you'll work closely with our Production Manager and your assigned Graphic Designer.
ONLINE GUIDE LAUNCH and EDITORIAL
Our Digital Marketing Manager will help guide you through the purpose, audience, best practices and tools of the trade for each social media platform to help you grow your audience as you launch your first Guide.
You'll speak with our national Editorial Director to understand how you can best engage with her to highlight your businesses on our national website.
A dedicated Account Manager to serve as point-person at HQ and answer any questions you may have.
We welcome all of our Editors to come meet us at HQ.
We host monthly training calls on various parts of the lifecycle of producing a guide.
We have a private Facebook group where Editors are constantly supporting and interacting with one another.
TSG Editor Conference
Every other year we host an Editor Conference for Franchisees and their teams. See the video above for scenes from the Welcome Dinner of our 2016 Editor Conference: Elevate.

A private intranet where Editors can log on and find supplementary resources for every step of the process, including digital versions of all spreads (organized by category and volume).
A comprehensive how-to guide to reference throughout the process
